The StoreJet® 18 does not Power-ON

Check the following:

1.Ensure that the StoreJet® 18 is properly connected to the USB port(s) on your computer.

2.Ensure that the USB port is working properly. If not, try using an alternate USB port.

I cannot back up files on my Mac®

The StoreJet® 18’s internal hard drive comes formatted for FAT32. If you want to backup files from a Mac computer you will need to format the StoreJet® 18 with HFS+ using the Mac Disk Utility.

Linux™ cannot detect the StoreJet® 18

The StoreJet® 18’s internal hard drive comes formatted for FAT32. Linux™ DOES NOT support the NTFS file system. Please reformat the StoreJet® 18 to the FAT32 file system to use it on a Linux™ computer.
