Load the UPS into the Rack and attach the Mounting Brackets

Caution:

The 5000 VA models (without batteries installed) require two people to lift due to its weight.

Screws shown on the right rack post only. Install four screws on the left rack post as well.

Attach the Rail Cleat

Attach a mounting cleat to each side of the UPS using two (2) flat head screws per cleat.

Load the UPS into the Rack

Supporting the UPS from the front and back, carefully align the cleat with the rails. Slide the UPS into position.

Attach the Mounting Brackets to the Rack

Use the eight ornamental screws (four per side), to attach the mounting brackets to the rack post. The figure displays the placement of four ornamental screws on the right rack post.

2. Connect Input Power to the UPS

1.Connect the UPS line cord (L6-30 plug) into an appropriate electrical outlet.

2.Ensure that all circuit breakers, located on the rear panel, are in the “On” (up) position. The following figure shows each circuit and its circuit breaker.

Connect the UPS line cord (IEC-309 plug) into an appropriate electrical outlet.
