5.2.2Termination

The SCSI bus must be terminated at the two physical ends of the cable. Only the devices connected at either end supply terminations. Devices that are not located at the end of the cable must have their terminations disabled; otherwise they will cause a degradation of the signal quality. Too many terminations will cause intermittent errors or other problems when accessing devices on the SCSI bus. If the FFD is the last device on the cable, then the terminations must be enabled by setting the DIP switch according to Table 2.
