Click OK to print the Nozzle Check Pattern.

oCheck the results of the Nozzle Check Patter. See the sample printout on page 4-6.

oIf any portion of the Nozzle Check Pattern is incorrect, clean the print head. See page 4-7 for details.

Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern Using the Operators Panel

Load paper. o Load one sheet of letter-size plain paper in the auto sheet feeder.

oDo not use a paper size other than letter or A4.

Turn the printer off and back on.

oTurn off the printer and wait a few seconds.

oPress down and hold the POWER button. The printer will beep once. Continue to hold down the POWER button until you hear one further beep then release the POWER button. The test print begins.

oCheck the results of the Nozzle Check Pattern. See the sample printout on page 4-6.

oIf any portion of the Nozzle Check Pattern is incorrect, clean the print head. See page 4-7 for details.
