2 HOW TO MAKE COPIES

„Placing originals on the original glass

The original glass can be used for originals such as OHP films or tracing paper, as well as plain paper, that cannot be placed on the RADF.

Do not place any heavy objects (4 kg (9 lb.) or over) on the original glass and do not press on it with force. Breaking the glass could injure you.

1 Raise the RADF.

Raise it 60 degrees or more so that the size of the original can be detected correctly.

2 Place the original with its face down on the original glass and align it against the left rear corner of the glass.

When you copy highly transparent originals

When you copy highly transparent originals such as OHP films or tracing paper, place a blank sheet, which is the same size as the original or larger, over the original.

3 Lower the RADF carefully.
