3.Follow the steps below to remove the optical drive:

a.Disconnect the data cable and power cable from the optical drive [1,2].

b.Pull the optical-drive release latch and then push the optical drive towards the front of the computer [3].

c.Remove the optical drive from the computer [4].

Installing The Optical Drive

1.Push the optical drive into the computer till it snaps into place.

2.Connect the data cable and power cable to the optical drive.

3.Install the:

4.Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
