C. A interface de configuração da gateway irá aparecer com o separador ‘Setup’ (Configuração) seleccionado. Com base nas instruções de configu- ração fornecidas pelo ISP, poderá ser necessário indicar os seguintes dados.

Host Name (Nome de anfitrião) e Domain Name (Nome de domínio): Estes campos permitem-lhe fornecer um nome de anfitrião e um nome de domínio para a gateway. Estes campos são normalmente deixados em bran- co. Se o ISP o solicitar, preencha estes dois campos.

Virtual Circuit ID (ID do circuito virtual) (VPI e VCI): Estes campos

consistem em dois itens: VPI (Virtual Path Identifier) e VCI (Virtual Channel Identifier). O ISP irá fornecer as definições correctas para cada campo.

D.Encapsulation (Encapsulamento): Esta gateway suporta cinco modos de

encapsulamento: RFC 1483 Bridged, RFC 1483 Routed, RFC 2364 PPPoA, RFC2516 PPPoE e Bridged Mode Only. Cada ecrã de configu- ração e as funcionalidades disponíveis irão diferir consoante o modo que seleccionar. O ISP irá fornecer as definições correctas. Prossiga para as instruções relativas ao modo de encapsulamento que está a utilizar.

a. Endereço IP da WAN: Endereço IP dinâmico

Se o ISP lhe disser que está a ligar através de um endereço IP dinâmico, efectue os seguintes procedimentos:

1. Seleccione RFC 14583 Bridged.

2. Seleccione Dynamic IP Address (Endereço IP dinâmico) como endereço IP da WAN.

3. Clique nos botões Apply (Aplicar) e Continue (Continuar) para salvar a configuração.
