Chapter 1 Introduction

Wireless LED

When the Wireless LED glows steadily, the Router is ready for wireless network- ing.

LAN LED

The LAN LED glows green when the Router is successfully connected to a com- puter with the yellow (Ethernet) cable.

USB LED

The USB LED glows green when the Router is successfully connected to a com- puter with the purple (USB) cable.

Rear Panel

The Router has four ports and a Reset button on its rear panel, as shown in the fig- ure below.

The Yellow port is used to connect the Router to the cable modem or set top box using the Yellow Ethernet cable.
