Trouble Shooting

Malfunction: no function

1. The power connections are faulty or defected.

2. The wires have no electrical or mechanical contact.

3. The fuse is damaged. Observe the correct fuse rating when you replace the fuse .

Malfunction: no sound signal

1. The RCA wires are faulty connected or defected.

2. The loudspeaker is damaged.

Malfunction: Distorted signal

1. The loudspeaker is overloaded.

a. Reduce the level, until the sound quality is good.

b. Reduce the bass level in your headunit, until the sound quality is good. c. Turn off the loudness-mode or the bass-qualizer in your headunit.

Malfunction: Hiss and white noise

1. The Level controller is turned to the maximum level. Reduce the level.

2. The Bass Boost Controller is tuned to the maximum level. Reduce the Bass Boost.

3. The hiss is provided by the headunit. Ensure this, by removing the line-in signals. Then turn the Soundsystem on. If the hiss is not hearable anymore, your headunit causes the hiss.

Malfunction: Interferences

The cause are always the wires. Especially the power- and signal wires are vulnerable. In most of the cases the inteferences will caused by the light generator of your car or other strong electrical devices. Avoid this by proper and appropriate installation of all wires.

Please follow these instructions:

1.Use only shilded RCA-Wires, which are designed for Car Audio Systems.

2.Install and mount all loudspeaker, line-signal and power supply wires with a sufficient distance to each other, also to other wires of the vehicle’s electrical system. If this is not possible, install the power supply wires together with the serial wires of the vehicle. The RCA wires should be installed with a sufficient distance to these. The remote wire could be installed together with the RCA wires.

3.Avoid any ground loops, by installing all components with a starlike arrangement. This means every component of your soundsystem needs a own separate ground wire.

If the malfunctions are still be on hand, consult your local Car Audio Retailer.
