To remove the antenna coaxial cables, follow the steps below.

1.Remove two M2.5x6 tapping screws securing the metal plate.

2.Remove the metal plate and the plastic brace.

3.Slip tweezers into the side of the plastic brace and pry to release two latches and remove the bottom part of the plastic brace.

4.Remove the tape securing the wireless LAN antenna coaxial cables.

5.Free the wireless LAN antenna coaxial cables from their guides and remove them.

To remove the LCD/FL cable, follow the steps below.

1.Remove two M2.5x6 tapping screws securing the metal plate.

2.Remove the metal plate and the plastic brace.

3.Remove one M2.5x6 tapping screw securing the metal brace.

4.Remove the LCD/FL cable.

NOTE: When you remove the top cover, hold it by the sides close to the hinges to prevent damage.
