Documents scanned with the CD-4050 are converted into multipage TIFF or PDF image files for recording to CD-Rs—a standard, low-cost, reliable archiving medium.

AWindows®-based filing structure means CD images may be retrieved and viewedon the CD-ROM drive of virtually any PC

using standard Windows software. A powerful, intuitive storage facility, the CD-4050 organizes documents into Cabinets and Folders, allowing each document up to three user-defined data fields.

Desktop-to-network convenience.

Connected via Ethernet to your office network, the CD-4050 does double duty as a high-speed network scanner, enabling on-line users to retrieve, view, and print documents from the shared network folder. What’s more, the operator has the ability to

distribute newly scanned or CD-stored documents via E-mail.

Viewing image files on Windows NT ® requires Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 2 or later version installed.
