Removing the Protective Packing Materials
Remove all of the protective packing materials before using the scanner.
1 Remove the protective tape (indicated by the ▼) from the scanner.
2 Remove the protective sheet between the Document Feed Tray and the scanner.
3 Open the Document Feed Tray. Pressing the OPEN Knob from both sides (q), pull the Front Unit forward to open it (w).
