Battery Removal

a. Remove the 3 screws and the battery cover.

b. Carefully disconnect the battery cable.

c. Remove the battery.

Removing the Battery

1.Turn the computer off.

2.Remove screws 1 - 3 (Figure 1a) from the battery cover 4 , and remove the cover.

3.Carefully (use a small screwdriver) disconnect the battery cable at point 5 .

4.Lift the battery 6 out of the computer.

5.When replacing the battery, connect the cable first.
