6. Remove screws 1 & 2 and lift the CPU holder 3 off the computer.

7.Unlock the processor by raising lever 4 .

8.Lift the CPU 5 off the computer.

The heat sink, and CPU area in general, contains parts which are subject to high temperatures. Allow the area time to cool before removing these parts.
