Enable/disable USB legacy support

 

for a USB keyboard, mouse, and

 

hubs. When USB legacy support is

 

enabled:

 

A USB keyboard, mouse, and

 

hubs work even when a Windows

 

operating system is not loaded.

 

The notebook can start from a

 

bootable hard drive, diskette

 

drive diskette, SuperDisk drive

 

disk, or CD-ROM, CD-RW, or

 

DVD inserted into a drive

 

connected by USB to the

 

notebook or an optional port

 

replicator.

 

Enable/disable all settings in the

 

SpeedStep window. (When Disable is

 

selected, the notebook runs in

 

Battery Optimized mode.)

 

Specify how the notebook recognizes

 

multiple identical port replicators that

 

are identically equipped. (Select

 

Disable to recognize the port

 

replicators as a single port replicator;

 

select Enable to recognize the port

 

replicators individually, by serial

 

number.)

 

Enable/disable the reporting of the

 

processor serial number by the

 

processor to the software.

 

Enable/disable inclusion of an internal

 

peripheral interconnect (PCI) Network
