Only use batteries that are approved by ARCHOS. All batteries are not the same and therefore should not be treated as such. Using the wrong battery or a cheaply manufactured imitation could cause serious damage to your computer and yourself through toxic emissions.

Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Discard used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions or local laws.

Charging the Battery Pack

The installed battery pack charges automatically any time the computer is connected to the AC adapter and an external power source. It is a good idea to occasionally discharge the battery pack fully to preserve its operating performance.
