To Create a CoPilot Live Web Account

If you want to use the Live functionality of CoPilot, you’ll need to create a user account on the ALK website at http://live.alk.com.

1Connect your laptop to the internet.

2Browse to the http://live.alk.com website.

3In the login page click on Create your new account here.

4Enter an easy-to-remember Account Name and Password for your account.

5Add your name and email address details.

6Select your time zone (e.g. Eastern Time (GMT) and account region: North America.

7Click on Submit.

Note: Using wireless internet with the Live service may result in data charges from your mobile internet provider.

Connecting to the Live Server

•Click Menu > Live.

Entering Your Live Account Details Into CoPilot

1Select Menu > Live > Settings.

2In the Live Settings screen click Edit.

3In the Live Account Information screen enter a Device Name of your choice, followed by the Account Name and Password created for your Live Account. Click OK.

4Deﬁne the time intervals at which CoPilot Live sends your position.

5Deﬁne how long a Live message is displayed on-screen.

6Select Yes to have CoPilot use text-to-speech when speaking a message.

7Press OK to apply the Live settings.
