PART I describes the SummitView™ system and its devices

3 Overview

We have designed a complete and simple solution for the integration of media and control in classrooms, training rooms and presentation rooms. SummitViewis as easy to use as it is to specify and install. The components that make up the SummitViewsystem are also available as standalone products. With a SummitViewkit, you get everything you need for a high end integrated media system

just add the mounting hardware, displays, and sources. All the signals are transmitted over economical TP cable and switched using the SV-552Switcher/Processor.

The SV-552 ALC version is aimed at installers who prefer to design their own SummitView installations. The SV-552 ALC kit differs from the standard SV-552only in regards to the contents of the box (see Section 15).

The SummitViewSystem controlled via the network is everything you need from the company you can count on for quality products and the ultimate in customer support – Kramer Electronics.

3.1 Basic SummitView™ SV-552 Installation

The usual SummitViewSV-552installation includes the following:

SV-552 ALC SummitView™ Processor/Switcher

SV-301xl,SV-302 and SV-306 Wall Plates

RC-63DLRoom Controller

SPK-CC444 Speakers

Power adapter (12V DC output)

Required cables (for details see Section 11)

Check list (see Table 20)
