Description

The ATP3 is an amplified speaker system featuring a subwoofer for extended low frequency response. The system is especially designed for multimedia computer applications. The unit is comprised of a subwoofer and two satellite speakers, and features separate VOLUME, BASS and TREBLE controls. The satellite speakers are uniquely designed to provide full tweeter and mid-bass response in a slim profile housing that complements flat panel as well as standard monitors. The satellite speakers are magnetically shielded and can be placed close to a monitor without distorting images.

Placement of the Speakers and Subwoofer

All stereo information is heard from the satellite speakers. The satellite speakers are magnetically shielded and can be placed close to the monitor without distorting images. Best stereo effect is obtained by placing the satellite speakers as far apart as practical. The subwoofer contains no stereo information and sound is non-directional. As a result, the subwoofer does not have to be placed in any particular relation to the satellite speakers. Placing the subwoofer on the floor close to a wall or corner of a room provides maximum bass efficiency. The subwoofer is not magnetically shielded and should not be placed close to the monitor
