INSTALLATION

•Your printer has a centered paper path. Therefore the paper paths of printer and TowerFeed have not to be adjusted like for previous Brother printers.

Electrical Connections

•Connect the RS-232 data cable to the serial port of the printer and to the rear of TowerFeed (Fig. 10).

Note:

Secure the connectors with the screws to ensure proper connection of the systems.

•Connect the power cables to printer and TowerFeed (Fig. 10).

Note:

When you power on the system, power on FIRST TowerFeed and then the printer.

Caution:

When rolling TowerFeed and printer to another place, take care when crossing doorsteps to not have the unit tipping over or TowerFeed trays sliding open.
