Turning the Option Board Feature(s) On or Off

A channel can support up to 6 option board features. Refer to your dealer or system administrator for more information.

Procedure:

Press the programmed Option Board Feature button to toggle the feature on or off.

Identifying Cable Type

You can select the type of cable your radio uses.

Procedure:

1c to access the menu.

2^ or vto Utilities and press cto select.

3^ or vto Radio Settings and press cto select.

4^ or vto Cable Type and press cto select.

5The current cable type is indicated by a 9.

NOTE: At Step 4, you can also use <or >to change the selected option.

Voice Announcement

This feature enables the radio to audibly indicate the current Zone or Channel the user has just assigned, or programmable button press. This audio indicator can be customized per customer requirements. This is typically useful when the user is in a difficult condition to read the content shown on the display.

Use the following features to toggle Voice Announcement on or off.

Procedure:

Press the programmed Voice Announcement button.

OR

Follow the procedure below.

1cto access the menu.

2^ or vto Utilities and press cto select.

3^ or v to Radio Settings and press cto select.

4^ or vto Voice Announcement.

5Press cto enable Voice Announcement. The display shows 9 beside Enabled.

OR

Press cto disable Voice Announcement. The 9 disappears from beside Disabled.
