Escalating Alarm Tone Volume

You can program your radio to continually alert you when a radio call remains unanswered. This is done by automatically increasing the alarm tone volume over time. This feature is known as Escalert.

Procedure:

1c to access the menu.

2^ or vto Utilities and press c to select.

3^ or vto Radio Settings and press cto select.

4^ or vto Tones/Alerts and press cto select.

5^ or vto Escalert.

6Press cto enable Escalert. The display shows 9 beside Enabled.

OR

Press c to disable Escalert. The 9 disappears from beside Enabled.

NOTE: At Step 5, you can also use <or >to change the selected option.

Call Log Features

Your radio keeps track of all recent outgoing, answered, and missed Private Calls. Use the call log feature to view and manage recent calls.

You can perform the following tasks in each of your call lists:

Store ID to Contacts

Delete

View Details

Viewing Recent Calls

The lists are Missed, Answered, and Outgoing.

Procedure:

1cto access the menu.

2^ or vto Call Log and press cto select.

3^ or vto preferred list and press cto select.

4The display shows the most recent entry at the top of the list.

5^ or vto view the list.

Press the PTT button to start a Private Call with the current selected alias or ID.
