PSTN Port Cable Pin Assignments

Each modem on the communications card is equipped with a single PSTN line port, which is accessed via the appropriate DIAL LINE socket on the card’s interface module (refer to the rear panel diagram in Section 1.2 for an exact reference of which socket services which modem on the communications card). This is an RJ11 type socket, that would typically be connected to a PSTN telephone wall socket using a cable conforming to the wiring diagram shown below:
