[40] Main Menu Button

In main mode, this is pre programmed to enter on screen menu of the GTP-880.

[41] Navigation & Select Buttons

The arrow buttons allow navigation throughout the GTP- 880 OSD (ON Screen Display) menus (as well as the menus of other devices, once the commands are learned). Select button: In main mode, this is pre programmed to enter a selection chosen via the menu system.

[42] Pause Button

In CD and DVD mode, it is pre programmed for pause with an ADCOM GCD-750 and GDV-850.

[43] Stop Button

In CD and DVD mode, it is pre programmed for stop with an ADCOM GCD-750 and GDV-850.

[44] Direct Access Keypad

In CD mode, buttons are pre programmed as track access commands for the ADCOM CD player. Buttons “1” through “10,” and “+10”

In tuner mode these buttons allow direct access to preset stations in memory.

In DVD mode, buttons work in conjunction with direct chapter navigation. Use the go to/enter to jump to a specific chapter or scene.

[45] Surround Mode Buttons

In main mode, these are pre programmed to cycle through the available surround modes of the GTP-880.

[46] Direct Analog Input Buttons

These buttons switch the analog inputs to one of the ana- log direct inputs. DVD-Audio, SACD or a 2 channel bypass.

[47] Random & Repeat Buttons

In CD mode, these buttons are pre programmed as “random” and “repeat” commands for ADCOM CD player.

[48] Ch. Trim & FM/AM Button

In main mode, this button cycles through channels adjust- ing trim in 1dB steps, -15dB to +10dB. Use the left and right arrows to make adjustments. In tuner mode this but- ton switches the tuner between FM and AM frequencies.

[49] Ch. Cal & Memory Button

In main mode, this button cycles through channels adjusting level in 1dB steps, -15dB to +10dB. Use the left and right arrows to make adjustments. In tuner mode this

button is used to program radio stations in memory.

[50] Th-Eq & P.Scan Button

In main mode this button turns theater compensation pro- cessing on and off.

In tuner mode this button scans the AM or FM stations preset in the tuner’s memory.

[51] Tone & Tune Down Button

In main mode this button cycles between the treble and bass level control, use the left and right buttons to make adjustments.

In tuner mode this button adjusts the GTP-880 tuner’s frequency down.

[52] Bypass & Tune Up Button

In main mode this button turns tone bypass on and off. In tuner mode this button adjusts the GTP-880 tuner’s frequency up.

[53] Macro Buttons

These buttons are programmable for use with any source.

[54] Room 2 Button

In any mode, this button is used turn room 2 on and off,

as well as adjust room settings using the buttons.

[55] Backlight Button

No programming capabilities. Button backlights all keys for eight (8) seconds when pressed.

[56] Dim Button

In main mode, button is pre programmed to dim GTP-880’s information display.

2.4 Remote Function Table

The tables on the following pages supplement the infor- mation you’ve just read. Use it to quickly review button functions. The controller’s capabilities are extensive and may be somewhat intimidating at first. However, you will soon find that its logical button arrangement and programming capabilities will greatly increase your enjoy- ment as you discover the ease with which you can operate your entire system from just one remote! Look down the left-hand column until you see the button you want to learn about. Then look under main to see if it is pre pro- grammed for a GTP-880 function, under CD to see what CD commands are pre programmed, and under tuner to see all pre programmed tuning functions.
