Charging directly on the player

1 Connect the AC power adaptor to the player.

Charging starts and the lamp flashes in orange first, and then remains lit.

Charging time

Approximately 3 hours to charge an empty battery up to full capacity.

Checking the remaining power of the battery

When you press DISPLAY on the remote, the remaining power of the battery is indicated on the screen as shown below (page 37). As the black indicator section decreases, the remaining power is depleted further.

   

“LOW BATTERY”

Notes

The display shows the approximate battery power remaining. One section does not always indicate one-fourth of the battery power.

Depending on the operating conditions, the display may increase or decrease relative to the actual power remaining.

The remaining battery indicator appears only when the player is operated on the battery.

The remaining battery indicator does not appear, while playing JPEG files (page 29), and viewing external input signals (page 49).
