Changing the playback order

You can play tracks on a disc inserted in the desired order (for Audio CD) or in random order (for Audio CD/ Video CD).

To playback in the desired order [PROGRAM]

You can play tracks on an Audio CD/Video CD disc in the desired order by using the Program function.

If you specify a wrong selection

Press TV/VIDEO - CANCEL. The last selection programmed is erased.

To clear the program Press 7 .

4 Press 3 to start program play.

When all of the programmed tracks have finished playback, the unit stops but the program remains.

NOTE

• During program playback, pressing ¢ skip to the next selection of the program. Pressing 4 returns to the beginning of the current selection, however, you cannot skip back to the previous selection.

• To quit program playback

 

Press ENTER when

points [PROGRAM].

 

[PROGRAM] returns to its original color.

Advanced operations

(When playing back a Video CD, you have to press 7

 

and then press ON SCREEN to bring up the on-screen

 

display.)

 

 

• To clear the program

 

 

While stopped and the on-screen display is shown on

 

the TV screen, move

to [PROGRAM] and then

 

press 7. All the programmed tracks are erased.

The color of [PROGRAM] changes.

While programming tracks, the current program step number and the selected track number are indicated in the display window.

The program table appears on the on-screen display (as shown above).

The “ PROGRAM” indicator lights in the display window on the front panel.

3 Specify tracks in the desined order using the numeric buttons.
