Setting the Parental Lock

YOU CAN USE THE PARENTAL LOCK FUNCTION ONLY WITH DVD VIDEO DISCS EQUIPPED WITH THE PARENTAL LOCK FEATURE.

SETTING THE PARENTAL LOCK

DVD video discs equipped with the parental lock function are rated according to their content. The contents allowed by a parental lock level and the way a DVD video disc can be controlled may vary from disc to disc. For example, if the disc allowed, you could edit out violent scenes unsuitable for children and replace them with more suitable scenes, or lock out playback of the disc all together.

1.When the DVD player is stopped completely, press SETUP button. The SETUP MENU appears on the TV screen.

2. Select Rating, press ENTER/PLAY

TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD:

Unlock:

1.Follow step 5 to select password.

3.Select Rating again, press ENTER/PLAY to select the item.

4.After select rating, then select Password to set password.

5.Enter your password then press ENTER/PLAY The pre-set password is 3308 .

6. Press SETUP to exit setup, press
	Password	- - - -
ENTER/PLAY to start.

8.Adult

2.Input the new password, press ENTER/PLAY button. 3.Press SETUP.

Lock:

1.Follow step 5 to select password.

2.Enter old password.

3.Press ENTER/PLAY.

4.Enter new password.

5.Press ENTER/PLAY.

6.Press SETUP.

Customizing the Function Settings

THIS DVD VIDEO PLAYER ALLOWS YOU TO CUSTOMIZE THE PERFORMANCE TO YOUR PERSONAL PREFERENCES.

DISPLAYING THE SETUP MENU SCREEN			1.	During stop, press SETUP button.
The SETUP MENU screen asks you to select a setting category			2.	Press		to select category (highlight), then
