IR DEFAULTS

IR Defaults lets you modify the channel dialing defaults if your cable box and/or VCR is not changing channels properly.

1.From the SETUP screen, use the CURSOR PAD

to highlight Change Default Options and then press the SELECT button.

2. Use the CURSOR PAD or to highlight IR defaults and then press the MENU button to access the IR Defaults Panel Menu.

3.Enter the chosen information in the Panel Menu fields.

Cable box – if you have a cable box, indicates whether or not you want to modify the default channel dialing options.

Choices are Yes and No (default).

Dial mode – select whether you must enter 2- digit or 3-digit (default) channel numbers to change channels on your cable box.

Enter key – indicate if you currently press the Enter key after you enter a channel number with your cable box remote.

Choices are Yes and No (default).

VCR – if you have a VCR, indicates whether or not you want to modify the default channel dialing options.

Choices are Yes and No (default).

Dial mode – select whether you must enter 2- digit (default) or 3-digit channel numbers to change channels on your VCR.

Enter key – indicate if you currently press the Enter key after you enter a channel number with your VCR remote.

Choices are Yes and No (default).

4.Press the SELECT button to highlight Done, and then press the SELECT button to exit the menu or

use the CURSOR PAD to highlight Cancel. Then press the SELECT button to exit the menu.
