System Setup

ATV/DVT, CONTINUED

DTV CHANNEL SETUP:

1.Press SETUP.

2.Press down arrow to select the ATV/DTV menu.

3.Press right arrow key and then down arrow to highlight DTV Channel Setup.

4.Press ENTER. A dialog box will appear.

a.Channel: press the right or left arrow to change the channel.

b.Skip: press the right of left arrow to turn the skip channel function on or off

c.Favorite list: press the right arrow key to enable. Use the right or left arrows to select and program your favorite channels. You can store up to five favorite channels.

5.To exit setup, press SETUP.

DTV PARENTAL CONTROL:

1.Press SETUP.

2.Press down arrow to select the ATV/DTV menu.

3.Press right arrow key and then down arrow to highlight DTV Parental Control.

4.Press ENTER. A dialog box will appear.

5.Enter the password 3-3-0-8 using the number pads and select “ok”.

V-chip Setting

a.USA TV Content Ratings = use the right arrow to block or view certain TV ratings

b.Canada English Ratings = use the right arrow to block or view certain TV ratings

c.Canada French Ratings = use the right arrow to block or view certain TV ratings

6.To exit setup, press SETUP.

Block Enable:

Use the down arrow to hightlight and press the right and left arrow to turn on or off.

RECORDING:

AUTO CHAPTER MARKER:

1.Press SETUP.

2.Press down arrow to select the Recording menu.

3.Press right arrow key to highlight Auto Chapter Marker.

4.Press ENTER.

5.Use the down arrow to select the desired length of time between auto chaptering and ENTER to select. The default is “5 min”.

6.To exit setup, press SETUP.

Note: If YesDVD is set to “on”, YesDVD will make chapter markers at natural scene breaks.
