Upgrading Firmware
You can upgrade new CPE software from a local file on a PC attached to the LAN port. New software may be provided periodically from your distributor.
The IP address for the CPE’s web interface is 192.168.252.1. Before upgrading new software, verify that your PC is configured with an IP address within the same network subnet (that is, 192.168.252.x).
Note: The Status page provides information on the CPE’s IP address, MAC address, hardware version, and serial number.
To upgrade firmware on the CPE, follow these steps:
1.When the logon screen appears, enter “admin” for both the user name and password.
2.When the Default Page is displayed, click System.
3.When the System Startup Page is displayed, click Firmware Upgrade.
4.Use the Browse function to select the new firmware from your local PC.
