To set up SCART switching

 

If your 598 has a SCART connector, the Video setup menu

 

includes an additional SCART setup menu to allow you to

 

configure the SCART switching.

 

Highlight SCART setup in the Video setup menu, and press

 

Enter.

 

The SCART settings menu is displayed:

Configuring disc options

Press A or V to highlight the option you want, and press Enter.

The Gamma correction affects the display brightness, and can be set to 1.0, 0.8, 0.9, or 1.1.

The Sharpness can be set to Off, Low, Medium, or High.

The Output mode can be set to Interlaced or Progressive.

Note: Due to restrictions imposed by the standard, copy- protected PAL discs will always be displayed with interlace on.

Press V or A to highlight the appropriate option, and press Enter.
