●Connect the ANALOGUE OUT sockets from the 598 DVD Audio Player to the analogue
●Optionally connect the AUX DIGITAL OUT socket to the surround processor’s digital input, using a digital phono lead.
This gives you the option of decoding Dolby Digital and DTS bitstreams using the surround processor.
S5 lead
●Connect the L/R output (digital version) or the AUX digital output (analogue version) from the 598 DVD Audio Player to DIGITAL INPUT 1 on the master DSP loudspeaker.
●Connect the DIGITAL and COMMS output from the master DSP loudspeaker to the DIGITAL and COMMS INPUTS on the slave DSP loudspeaker, using an S5 lead.
●In the Decode bitstream in player menu set the Main outputs option to Yes; see To select the digital audio format, page 46.
