Information Displays

A•B Repeat (Available on Audio CDs only)

A•B Repeat lets you define a specific segment on the disc that you want to repeat:

1.Find the spot on the disc that is a few seconds before the beginning of the part you want to repeat (this gives you time to access the Info Display and the Repeat feature).

2.Press INFO on the remote and select the Repeat icon from the Info Display.

3.Press the up/down arrow buttons until the A•B Repeat option is shown in the text box underneath the icons. The text box reads Repeat Mode: A-B Press OK to Set A Point.

4.At the beginning of the part you want to repeat, press OK to set the A point.

5.When you get to the part of the disc that you want to be the end of the repeated segment (the B point), press OK. The segment will repeat until you turn Repeat off.

6.To make the Info Display disappear from the screen, press the INFO button on the remote.

How to Cancel Repeat

There are three ways to cancel Repeat:

Press STOP twice.

Go to the Repeat icon in the Info Display and select Off.

Eject the disc.

PlayBack Control (Available on Video CDs only)

This function lets you make interactive selection of some scenes. Additionally, high resolution scenes can be viewed if they are included on the disc. Highlight the PBC icon and use the up and down arrow buttons on your remote to scroll through the options available on the disc.

Changing the Audio Channel Output (Available on Video CDs only)

If you are playing a stereo Video CD, you can change the channel output.

1.Press INFO on the remote to bring up the Info Display.

2.Highlight the Audio Channel icon on the Info Display.

3.The audio channel choices appear in the text box. Use the up/down arrow keys to scroll through the choices: Stereo, Left, Right or Mono. Whatever choice is displayed becomes the active choice.

Using IntroScan (Available on Audio CDs and mp3s only)

IntroScan plays the first ten seconds of each track on the CD. To use IntroScan:

1.Press INFO on the remote (the Info Display appears).

2.Highlight the IntroScan icon. Press OK. The first ten seconds of each track will play.

After IntroScan goes through all of the tracks, it stops.

If you want to stop IntroScan while it’s in progress, press PLAY. The current track starts playing in its entirety.

You can also access IntroScan from the Play Mode menu in the DVD’s main menu.
