E-MAIL AT A GLANCE

When you send e-mail, you get to write messages, check your spelling, and send them to anyone who has an e-mail address. You can send e-mail anywhere in the world, anytime! And people can send you messages at your WebTV address anytime, from anywhere. (See page 92 for information on adding users, each with his or her own e-mail address.)

To start using Mail, go to Web Home, select Mail from the top-left part of the page, then press OK or RETURN.

READING YOUR MAIL

You can tell when you have new mail by looking at the Mailbox at the top of the Web Home screen. When a letter appears in the on-screen mailbox, you have mail. Or check the Message light on the front of the receiver. When the red light is on, you have mail.

Follow these steps to read your mail:

From Web Home, select Mail from the top of the screen, then press OK or

 

RETURN. The Mail list screen appears.

 

Select the message you want to read, then press OK or RETURN. Your

message opens.

Once you have finished reading the message, you have a number of options

for what to do next. These options are presented to the left of the message.
