CUT, COPY, AND PASTE

Using a wireless keyboard, you can edit or add to the e-mail messages you write by using the cut, copy, and paste features. To “cut and paste” means to remove text from one place and insert it somewhere else.

You can cut and paste text anywhere you can type. You can’t edit a Web page or e-mail message that was sent to you, but you can copy all (or part) of the text and paste it into an e-mail message that you are writing and then edit the text.

Copying all text

If you want to copy all of the text from a Web page or an e-mail message, do the following:

1Select all the text from the e-mail message or Web page using the wireless keyboard: hold the CMD key as you press the A key.

Pressing CMD-Aselects all of the text on the page.

2To copy the selected text, hold the CMD key while pressing the C key. Pressing CMD-Ccopies the selected text.

3To paste the text you have copied, follow the instructions on page 68 for “Inserting text you have copied.”
