From the manual channel setup screen you can manually fine tune channels and set channels to skip.

The skip function lets you skip channels where there is no station so that as you change channels using the CHANNEL +/– buttons or the number buttons, you only change to channels that have a station.

1Select ‘Manual CH Setup’ to display the manual channel setup screen.

• Use the

buttons to change the guide channel

for setting.

 

If you want to skip the displayed channel (because there is no station assigned to that channel), change the Skip setting to On.

If you want to manually tune the displayed channel, change the AFT (Auto Fine Tuning) setting to Off, then move down to Level to manually tune to a station.

Guide channels are used by the VCR Plus+ system so that the channel number specified in the VCR Plus+ programming numbers can be guaranteed to correspond to the correct station.

1 Select ‘Guide CH Setup’, then ‘Guide CH’.
