tConnect the DVD Recorder / VCR with the following logos :

tQ-Link connection (p. 57) tUse fully wired SCART cable.

tSet up the DVD Recorder / VCR. Read the manual of the recorder. tQ-Link terminal setup in the Setup Menu [AV1 out] (p. 30)

tDownload preset - channel, language, country settings “Preset download” (see below)

Channel, language, country settings can be downloaded to the recorder. tDVB-C channel settings cannot be downloaded.

tWhen Direct TV Recording is performed, the recorder is automatically turned on if it is in Standby mode.

tChanging channel or turning off the TV is available while the recorder is recording from its own tuner.

tChanging channel is not available while the recorder is recording from the TV tuner.

Power on link and Easy playback

Set Power on Link [On] in the Setup Menu to use this function [Power on Link] (p. 30)

When DVD Recorder / VCR starts playback or direct navigator / function menu for the equipment are activated, the TV is turned on and input mode is switched automatically so that you can view the content. (Only when the TV is in Standby mode.)

Power off link

Set Power off Link [On] in the Setup Menu to use this function [Power off Link] (p. 30)

When TV is set to Standby mode, the recorder is also automatically set to Standby. (Only when the videocassette or disc is not active.)

tThis function will work even if the TV enters Standby mode automatically by auto power standby function.

Note

tSome recorders are not applicable. Read the manual of the recorder.
