Playing discs

1Open the lid.

2Insert a disc and close the lid.

3 Press and hold. 4 Adjust the volume.

Load double-sided discs so the label for the side you want to play is facing up.

pDVD-RAM:Remove discs from their cartridges before use.

pSome discs start to play automatically when the unit is on.

ON

The unit turns on and play begins.

pWhen “SD” or “AUX” is displayed, press [AV SELECT] several times until “DISC” is displayed.

VOL

When using headphones, turn down the volume before connection.

pTo play [JPEG], [MP3] or [MPEG4] on DVD-RAM that contain both [DVD-VR]and another format (e.g. [JPEG]), select “Play as Data Disc” (page 27, Other Menu).

pWhile stopped, the unit automatically turns off once 15 minutes (after approximately 5 minutes when using the battery pack) have elapsed.

pDiscs continue to rotate while menus are displayed. Press [w, – OFF] when you finish to preserve the unit’s motor. pTotal title number may not be displayed properly on KR/KRW.

When the unit is off:

 

Press and hold and the power comes on and play

Turn unit on/play

begins.

 

 

 

ON

When the unit is on:

 

Press and play begins.

Pause

Press [ , ON] to restart play.

 

The position is memorized when “Press PLAY to

 

resume play” appears on the screen.

Stop

pPress [

, ON] to resume. (Resume play)

Opening the disc lid, or pressing [w, – OFF] while

 

OFF

“Press PLAY to resume play” appears on the

 

screen cancels the memorized position.

Turn unit off

Press and hold until “OFF” is displayed.
