Sound incorrect

Piercing noise comes from the speakers.

Effects do not work.

No sound from center speaker.

No sound from other speakers.

No sound when you change the play speed.

5.1ch audio does not work.

pIf you have connected a digital amplifier which does not include decoder, be sure to select “PCM” in “Dolby Digital” or “DTS Digital Surround” in “Audio” tab. (29)

pNone of the audio effects work when the unit is connected through the digital optical cable and is outputting bitstream signals. (33)

pSome audio effects do not work or have less effect with some discs. pH.Bass, Advanced Surround, Multi Re-master and Sound

Enhancement do not work if you have changed the play speed.

Troubleshooting

Recording

Cannot record to digital recording equipment. (Incorrect sound recorded.)

pYou cannot record WMA/MP3.

pYou cannot record DVDs that have protection preventing digital recording. pYou cannot record DVDs if the recording equipment cannot handle

signals with a sampling frequency of 48 kHz.

pMake the following settings:

Displays

pThe operation is prohibited by the unit, disc or card.

No On-Screen display.
