Preparations

≥Prepare the power supply (➡ pages 10 and 11).

≥When connected to a television (➡ pages 12 and 13), turn on the television and select the appropriate video input on the television to suit the connections for the player.

	Open the outer cover.
1	PUSH OPEN	Press [PUSH OPEN] to open the disc
		lid and insert a disc with the side you
		want to play label up.
		Close the disc lid by hand.	Clicks
2		Press and hold [1, ON] to start play.		Display
	ON
		The unit comes on automatically.
		See below if a menu appears.	Chapter/track number	Elapsed

		Adjust the volume.

∫To stop play

Press [∫] (➡ page 15, Resume function).

∫To pause play Press [;] during play.

Press [1] (play) to restart play.

∫To turn the unit off

OFF Press and hold [∫, – OFF] until

“ appears” on the display.

∫Turning the unit on and off with the remote control

POWER

ÍPress [Í POWER].

∫Auto power-off function

The unit automatically turns off after being stopped for 15 minutes (5 minutes when the battery pack is being used).

Press the remote control’s numbered but- tons to select an item.

Use [3, 4, 2, 1] to highlight an item and press [ENTER].
