Tuning Preset Download (Setup with Q Link functions)

When connecting to a television that has the Q Link function (page 41) with a fully wired 21-pin Scart cable (page 7).

(The AV2 and AV4 Scart terminals on Panasonic televisions are compatible with the Q Link function.)

You can download the tuning positions from the television.

This unit Auto Clock Setting function synchronizes the time when the TV channel that is broadcasting time and date information is tuned.

1 Turn on the television and select the appropriate AV input to suit the connections to this unit.

2 Press [^ DVD] to turn the unit on.

Tuning Preset Downloading starts.

Tuning Preset Downloading is complete when you see the television picture.

If the Country setting menu appears on the television, press [e, r, w, q] to select the country and press [ENTER].

If you select “Schweiz”, “Suisse” or “Svizzera” in the Country setting, or when the television tuning setting has been set to Switzerland, the “Power Save” setting menu appears. Select “On” or “Off” (page 36).
