Connecting a Standard VCR to the AV Input

Most standard Video Cassette Recorders use RCA type video and audio connectors. If your VCR has different type connectors please refer to the VCR instruction book for details.

NOTE: A mono VCR can be connected to this television. Connect the VCR Audio out to the Left Audio input on the television. The sound will automatically be directed to both speakers.

Connecting S-Video Equipment to the AV Input

S-Video equipment uses a 4Pin Mini Din (Male) plug for the video and RCA plugs for the audio. When an S-Video cable is connected to an S-Video input terminal, the RCA video terminal for that AV position will be disconnected.

Connecting DVD Equipment to the AV Input

The audio and video inputs on the television are RCA type connectors.

Connect the Y, PB and PR outputs from the DVD to the AV4 IN DVD Inputs on the television, as shown below. Connect the “AUDIO OUT” to the AV4 IN AUDIO terminals on the television.

Note: Some DVD players only have an RCA “VIDEO OUT” terminal. This can be connected to any of the VIDEO

DVD PLAYER Inputs on the television. Connect the “AUDIO OUT” to the corresponding AUDIO terminals on the television.
