Place a recordable DVD+RW or DVD+R onto the disc tray.

4-3Schedule Recording

You can use this DVD Recorder to record from external source or TV programs.

To Record From External Source

Preparations:

1.Please connect this DVD Recorder to your TV, and connect outer equipments to this DVD Recorder. (For details, please refer to Quick-guide.)

2.Remember to use an unfinalized and recordable DVD+RW or DVD+R.

1 Turn on POWER of this DVD Recorder and outer equipments. 2 Press EJECT to open the disc tray.

Hold the disc without touching its surface, position it with the printed title facing up, align it with the guides, and place it in its proper position.

4 Press EJECT again to close the disc tray.

NOTE:

If you use an unused DVD+RW or DVD+R, the first reading will take about one minute. If this DVD Recorder reads a new DVD disc, the disc will be formatted automatically and then shows one empty title with 100% free disc space. If this DVD Recorder reads a used DVD disc, a Title menu will shows the available title for play and available space left for record- ing.

5 Press DVD/REC on the remote control to switch to REC mode.

NOTE:

DVD/REC is to toggle between REC mode and DVD mode. You could process the recording only under REC mode. REC” mode means that the incoming AV signal is passed through the unit to the TV that is connected to the AV outputs of the unit.

6 Press SOURCE on the remote control to toggle different external A/V input source.

NOTE: Press SOURCE repeatedly to cycle through various A/V input.

7 Press REC on the remote control to start to record.

“REC” will appear on the right corner of the TV screen.

8 Press STOP on the remote control to stop recording.

“WAIT” will appear on the right corner of the TV screen. Wait until “LIVE” appear on the right corner of the TV screen. “LIVE” showing on the TV screen means recording has completed.

9 Press DVD/REC on the remote control to switch to DVD mode.

Information about the recordings will show on the TV screen.

10 Press / to choose the recordings just recorded.

11 Press to playback the preferred recordings.

It could show three title boxes on the TV screen at one time. If there are more than three title boxes, press to next title box.

To pause recording

Press PAUSE.

To resume recording

Press .
