3-4System Info Setup

DATE AND TIME Setting

If this DVD Recorder sets the date and time incorrectly, you could set the information manually.

Press SETUP in the stop mode.

Press / to select “System Info” and press

Press / to select “Date and Time”, and then press

 

.

Press / to select the preferred item.

 

 

 

 

Every time you press , you could select the following items in order: hour, minute, second, month, day and year.

5 Press / to adjust the numbers to the exact date and time.

The OSD screen will be as following:

Time 02:16:08

Date 03/26/03 WED

It will change automatically according to the setup date.

to save and return.

Press CLEAR to return without save.

NOTE:

Every time before doing schedule recording, you have to check the date and time setting again to make sure the infor- mation of the date and time be correct.

To return to the SETUP MENU screen

Press button.

To finish the setup operation

Press SETUP to exit from SETUP MENU screen.

RATINGS Setting [DVD]

A built-in viewer rating setting enables you to lock the videos that you do not want children to view. For example, if you set it to PG-13 then the player will not play the videos rated R, NC-17 or X unless the correct password is entered.

The password input dialog box will appear on the screen.

5 Press / to choose one level from 1 to 8 and press . To return to the SETUP MENU screen

Press button.

To finish the setup operation

Press SETUP to exit from SETUP MENU screen.

For Your Reference:

You can use the parental control lock ONLY with DVD video discs featured with the parental lock funcion.

Some discs may not be encoded with specific rating level information though its disc jacket says that is for “adults”. For those discs, RATINGS lock will not function.
