INTRODUCTION

5Playback

Before you begin:

Turn on the amplifier and any other device which is connected to this unit. Make sure the external audio receiver (not supplied) are set to the correct input mode.

1 Press [POWERy] to turn on the unit.

2 Press [OPEN/CLOSE A].

•The unit switches to the DVD mode when the unit was in TV mode.

3 Insert a disc with its label side facing up.

Align the disc to the disc tray guide.

•In case the DVD was recorded on both sides, make sure the side you want to play back is facing up.

4 Press [PLAY B]. The tray will close and playback will start.

•If playback does not start automatically, press [PLAY B] again.

5 Press [STOP C] to stop playback temporarily.

•If playback remains stopped for 5 minutes, the screen saver program will activate automatically,

and in 15 minutes with no activity at the unit, the unit will turn off when “AUTO POWER OFF“ is set to “ON“ (factory default).

6 Press [OPEN/CLOSE A] to eject the disc.
