DVD Mode
Set the unit to DVD mode to play DVD, DVD±R/RW, CD,

to switch the unit to DVD mode.
Basic Operation
1.Ensure that all cable connections have been made properly and securely (refer to the section “Cable Connections” for details).
2.Press 
to turn the unit on or off.
3.Press 
until the screen displays “DVD” to enter DVD mode.
4.Load a disc into the player.
•Press 
to open the disc tray.
•Gently place the disc with the label facing up into the disc tray. Do not insert objects other than discs com- patible with your DVD player.
•Press 
to close the disc tray.
If a
DVDs may have been manufactured with a region code. DVD players cannot play discs with a region code that is different from the player.
If the parental control is set, you will not be able to play a disc that is within the rating setting (see the section “DVD Setup” for more details).
