ETIMERS

You can set “DATE”, “TIME” (Clock), “ON TIMER” (Wake-up timer) and “OFF TIMER” (Sleep timer) to automatically turn on and off the TV or RADIO at the specified time.

You can also set “ON TIMER” to automatically turn on at the specified sound volume.

The Timer functions that turn power on at the specified time do not work unless the clock has been adjusted. Be sure to adjust the “DATE” and the “TIME” (Clock) first.

NOTE

The “FEATURE TIMERS” menu screen can be displayed directly by pressing TIMER.

“DATE” and “TIME” are automatically set/corrected via the Teletext broadcast when available.

When you set “ON TIMER”, the WAKE-UP indicator lights up Red while in the Stand-by mode.

“ON TIMER” and “OFF TIMER” will not be activated if the power is turned off with a (Power) on the TV.

In the event of a power cut, disconnection from the plug or TV switch, all the data on the “ON TIMER” and “OFF TIMER” will be cancelled.

As a safety precaution, in the case of nobody being home when the TV or RADIO switches on automatically, the TV will return to Stand-by mode after 120 minutes; if it is to continue to run, any button on the remote control functions should be pressed.

The “OFF TIMER” data will be cancelled if you turn off the TV by B (Stand-by/On) on the remote control.

You can check the timer settings by pressing p(Display/ Info.)
