4. Putting into Service

Switch off all devices, including the TFT monitor, before making any connections between them.

4.1 Unpacking and Positioning

Selecting the installation position

Viewing direction

Although the TFT monitor has a very wide viewing angle, the picture will be best if you view it directly from the front. You should therefore adjust the position of the monitor to match the most frequently used viewing direction.

Position

Reflected light

Avoid positioning the monitor directly opposite windows or other light sources

Access to the mains input

The mains input and the mains switch should be easily accessible at all times.

Ventilation

Ensure that there is a space of at least 10 cm, above and below the ventilation openings, between the monitor and any other pieces of furniture, walls, etc.

Ambient temperature

For safe and reliable operation, the ambient temperature must lie between 5°C and 35°C.

Unpacking

Place the cardboard box upright on a firm surface. The arrows on the ends of the box point to the top of the box.
