The recording must be at least 15 min- utes long for the VCR to detect the com- mercials. If you press STOP before the tape plays 15 minutes, AT LEAST 15

Playing Back with Commercial Advance Marking

Follow these steps to select how the VCR op- erates when you play any marked tape.

1.Press MENU to display the main menu.

2.Repeatedly press PLAY or STOP to high- light SET UP VCR, then press FF.

3.Repeatedly press PLAY or STOP to high- light SET UP COMMERCIAL ADV., then press FF.

4.Repeatedly press PLAY or STOP to highlight C/A PLAYBACK, then press FF to select AUTO or MANUAL.

AUTO — The VCR automatically skips marked commercial blocks.

MANUAL — The VCR skips commercials only when you press C/A SKIP/ZERO during playback.

5.When you finish, press MENU three times to exit.

Notes:

Commercial Advance might not detect all commercials.

Commercial Advance might skip part of a program if there are frequent dark and quiet scenes.
