Step 2: Identifying your PC configuration

We will focus on the two main PC configurations found in modern households today. Check the glossary for explanations of technical terms used.

You have

a router

one or more PCs connected to the router

one free Ethernet connector on the router

Configuration B

If feasible we advise to set up a router-based network as described in Configuration A before connecting your TV.

Before connecting your TV

You have

a PC with a free Ethernet connector. Note: If you don’t have a free Ethernet connector on your PC you will have to buy and install an extra Ethernet card.
